WHITE LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK
Situated on a 6,500-hectare lake, White Lake is a premier fishing spot for
Walleye and Pike. The park is an ideal base for exploration with 3 nature
trails to explore, sandy beaches and fantastic swimming.
POTHOLES PROVINCIAL PARK
A day-use parl on the Kinniwabi River, east of Wawa on Hwy 101. A short
trail through a garden-like setting leads to distinctive "potholes" in the
bedrock, formed by glacial meltwaters 10,000 years ago.
MISSISSAGI PROVINCIAL PARK
Home to the 130 m high Helenbar Lookout and 40 km of outstanding
hiking trails that pass through a variety of landscapes and forests, with
views of the Penokean Hills. Several lakes provide canoeing, boating and
Trout fishing.
NAGAGAMISIS PROVINCIAL PARK
Cree for “lake with fine sandy shores”, this secluded lake is a favourite
fishing spot for Walleye and Pike. The park is at the heart of an ancient
glacial landscape of clear blue lakes. The Boreal Forest here is home to
the elusive Woodland Caribou.
MISSINAIBI PROVINCIAL PARK
Missinaibi is a Canadian Heritage River known for outstanding recreation,
natural and cultural heritage. Both a huge lake surrounded by the largest
game preserve in the world, and a 450 km-long heritage river, Missinaibi
provides fishing, boating, canoeing, car and backcountry camping.
IVANHOE LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK
Ivanhoe Lake is a great family camping park and a premier boating and
fishing spot. The park includes the east half of Ivanhoe Lake and 20 km
of the Ivanhoe River, with a great shallow sandy beach, great birding,
excellent boating and great fishing for Walleye and Pike.
FUSHIMI LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK
A quiet park known for its excellent Pike and Walleye fishing and
surrounds the clear waters of Fushimi Lake. It has great swimming at
one of the half-dozen sandy beaches scattered around its shores, shore
lunch spots for fish fries, and some backcountry campsites.
